Find the OBD|| DLC (data link connector) and clear the code with a scan tool. Most auto zones or o Rielly auto parts will scan and clear codes for free. The connector is usually located under the dash on the drvers side. VW sometimes put them in center council below radio. VWs are usually a purple or green plug
