My handset does not support the GPRS settings but my browser does get open and i have even downloaded some less size application. but whenever i try for the large size application, it gets failed after it starts. i have been facing this problem from a week. and my signal strengths are impressive.so kindly provide me manual setting for my handset of aircel gprs as soon as possible....my handest is HTC SURROUND T8788

Was your phone bought there? Some phones do not work in other parts of the world, with or without GPRS, etc. That is not something that we could help you with, what you need to do is contact customer service and explain your dilemma to them. It may be that it is just not compatible with your phone, and therefore will not work regardless.

Well, if the settings are not automatically available on your handset (using connection wizard) you have to activate mobile connect to enable your set to surf web.

The only way to fix this problem is to contact your service provider only they can help you fix it because there are particular settings which you need in order to use the GPRS(Internet) feature.
Just contact them and ask them to give you a new ip address for your phone no.
