Hi Elizabeth, typically this particular error code indicates that the water temperatures are wrong. Often this is caused due to the hoses being wrongly connected to the valves. Check the hoses and make sure they are located on the correct faucet and valve. Confirm that there aren't any restrictions or kinks in the drain hose as well. If issue persists, it would be advisable to contact an experience appliance repair tech to assist further.

AEG Lavamat 60810 keeps stopping and displaying error E50 and some time E70. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Family error code E50 means a problem with the washing motor. Family error code E70 means a problem with the NTC sensor. In my experience, E50 is most common fault in worn carbon brushes. But in any case family error code E50 is shown to the customer. In service mode could be: E51,52,53 and 54. The same applies to family E70 error code that will be displayed in service mode as error code E71 or E74.
E50 error code could be: motor winding, power board, tachymetric generator, motor relay on power board, wiring between motor and power board and wiring between tachymetric generator and electronic.
E70 error code could be: faulty NTC sensor, wrong position of NTC sensor or to much limescale on it and finaly wiring between NTC and electronic.

Frigidaire washer LTF7000ESO error code E70

Good Morning Jazy, this is JK. I see that you are receiving an error message E70. The E70 error means that the Main Control Board is not seeing the correct water supply. I would suggest swapping the hot and cold hoses. Hope this helps!

E70 error code on electrolux dryers inspire, it is working but dries the clothes to damp then this code comes up

Hi Nora King - Error code E70, typically means that there is a communication error with the outlet/inlet control thermistor that has an open or short circuit. You will need a certified professional to check the resistance of outlet/inlet control thermistor and check wiring for either short or open circuit.

I have a error code e70 on a gltf2940ee washer. what does this mean?

The E70 error is for a problem with the cold water being turned off or blocked. I recommend checking the cold water supply. Another possibility is a faulty watervalve or wiring problem. Remember to disconnect power before attempting access.

E70 error code

The main cause for this e70 error is that the hoses would have swapped (hot to cold, cold to hot). It means the washer isn't getting cold water.Try to switch between the hoses. Another possibility is the faucets are not turned on.... Hope this solution will fix your problem for sure.

Hello,

I had this exact same problem with my Frigidaire washer (E70) as bubbles100. I called an appliance repairman on 5/14/09 and paid him $60 to tell me my hot and cold water hoses were reversed/not properly installed.

This repairman was the cheapest priced $60 and he would work till he found the problem. I had one appliance repair company wanting to charge me $90 for 30 min and another wanting to charge $120 for 30 min. Hopefully this information can help save the next person some money by trying this first.
