That could mean a whole lot of things to a lot of people.. We would need to know your laptop's make and model please. That is your system indicating "Diagnostic Beeps" and without knowing where your laptop came from it would be impossible for us to help you.

Typically POST beeps mean something mechnical isn't working.. I'd start with removing all but one RAM stick, (try one stick once in each slot) and if that doesn't solve your issue then please report back here with the requested information. Thanks!

PS, laptop RAM is laid out as such (typically, again depends on model)

Top is "DIMM 0"
and second is "DIMM 1"

so take the second RAM stick out and try powering, if nothing take it out of DIMM0 and move to DIMM1 and try it on again (leaving DIMM0 with nothing in it), this is called testing and re-seating RAM.

Please follow the instructions below to start up your console in safe mode.
You can do this by: Putting the unit into Stand By. (solid red light on the power button)
- Press and hold down the power button once in standby for 3 beeps including the initial one when you first press the power button.
- Once you hear the third beep the unit will power off into standby mode again, when it does, release the power button.
- Then press and hold it down again, this time until you hear 2 quick beeps in a row, usually the 3rd and 4th beeps.
- Once you hear the quick beeps release the power button again and you will be presented with a message telling you to plug in your ps3 controller, do this.
- You will have 6 options appear on the screen. Please be aware that choosing some of these options can cause you to lose data on your machine.
From here, please choose option 4 ( Rebuild database ).

Plug in hdmi cable and screen is just blank

A reset ought to sort it - turn the power off and on again. Hold down the standby button on the front of the console until you hear 3 loud beeps. It should work then.

I have a Graco baby monitor, it started making a noise for the last 2 days, could it be a battery problem (even with power connected)? The monitor is about 1.5 years old.

Annoying! happens to us too frequently, but this works. We ended up buying a new one and returning our broken one after owning for three months From Manual:) 5. Turn on the Nursery Unit using the On/Off switch on the side. The green power light should come on. 6. Within a few seconds, the Parent Unit will lock on to the Nursery Unit and the top four (4) green LEDs will shut off. A second later, you will hear a series of beeps and the connection LED should change from red to green. Your monitor is now ready for use. 7. If the top four (4) LEDs do not shut off, power off the Parent Unit and the Nursery Unit and repeat steps 4 and 5 above. 8. If the connection LED on the Parent Unit does not change from red to green and the unit begins to beep, press the channel "ch" button on the Nursery Unit. Within a few seconds, the Parent Unit should lock in on the Nursery Unit and the connection LED should change from red to green. You may hear an audible beep during this process. 9. If the Parent Unit is still unable to lock in on the Nursery Unit (connection LED will be red and the unit will beep), power down both the Parent Unit and the Nursery Unit. Wait for 10 seconds then hold the volume down button on the Parent Unit while pressing the On/Off switch. When the unit powers up, you will hear a single beep and all of the soundlights will illuminate. Release the volume down switch and within 2 seconds you will hear two beeps and all of the Sound Light LEDs will stay lit and the bottom LED will be red. 10. Repeat steps 5

It is beeping "Error" with 5 beeps

5 beep error means that the waste ink tank is full. You can reset the counter to make it print by doing the following: You have to be exact. If you make a mistake in any of it, just go back to the beginning and start it all over.

1.Unplug the power cord from the printer

2.Hold down BOTH the POWER and RESUME button at the same time and then plug the power cord back in. Keep holding down the buttons until the printer finishes its powering up noises.

3.After the printer is quiet, release the POWER and RESUME buttons. Then hold down the RESUME and CARTRIDGE buttons at the same time with one hand, and press the POWER button with the other. KEEP HOLDING DOWN the RESUME and CARTRIDGE buttons until you hear 2 beeps. They will come quickly together and one beep will be longer than the other. Listen carefully, as they are not very loud.

4. Once you hear the 2 beeps, release both buttons.

5. After both buttons have been released, then press the CARTRIDGE button 15 times. You will hear a beep each time it's pressed.

6. After you finish pressing the cartridge button 15 times, then press the RESUME button one time. The printer will beep and shut off.

7. Turn the printer back on by pressing the POWER button. The printer will work fine now. The waste ink will have been reset to 50% full.
