Question about American Standard Trane Ge Gas Furnace Flame Sensor Sensing Sen00355 Pse-tr9
What is the problem? If its not sensing the flame? Try rubbing off the build up of the carbon on the sensor off with a piece of emery cloth or some sand paper. If it works after you clean it. Replace the flame sensor. It should work for you for a little while after the carbon build up is cleaned off. Not sure of what exactly the problem is. But with a flame sensor the only thing it does is confirm there is a flame to keep the gas flowing thru the gas valve. Its one of the many safety features on most if not all gas furnaces.

Turn the Coleman furnace system switch to the "Off" position on the electric service panel.
Locate the manual reset switch near the left side of your furnace blower. Your Coleman furnace has an upper limit switch for manual reset and a lower limit switch for automatic reset.
Press the reset button, which you will find in the middle of the limit switch. Use this manual reset button when the furnace burner will not operate. (See Reference 1 pg 4 "The Furnace Controls and their Function/Important" & Reference 4 # 3)
Turn the system switch to the "On" position.
