Sounds like a clogged drain pan. You will need to have the unit professionally cleaned.

E-1 error means coil sensor (cooling) defective. Replace it.

Check your filters... if they are dirty or blocked the set point temperature will be all over the place. If the filters are clean, there may be a problem with the air sensor which is attached to the evaporator on the front of the indoor unit behind the filters. Check and make sure this isnt covered with dust etc. The air sensor usually appears as a black wire mounted on a plastic mount, stuck on the coil ( Aluminium tube part) of the indoor unit behind the filters.
