It means the printhead is stuck in the tilt position by the tilt arms. If the process motor gearbox is out of sync, it'll cause this error. Steps to resolve: Reboot the printer. Verify the lock arms rotate correctly. Check for spilled ink around the printhead (did you move it without waiting for it to cool down?) Check the process motor gears for damage. Make sure they're aligned and homed correctly. Repeat for process gear box, process shaft, and drive module shaft. Verify the headtilt gear will engage. From there, run the Tilt Axis Drive test, Process Motor test, Head Maintenance Clutch test (replace clutch if failed), and Wiper drive test (replace wiper drive system if failed)

This is a print head position issue.
TRY FIRST (Solutions without parts):
1. Check that the wipe mechanism has homed. 2. Check the printhead position and verify that it has initialized properly / manually home the printhead and power cycle the printers power and check for the error to return. If not then the error was most likely due to non-process function (something out of sequence).
Part likely to be the cause:
GEARBOX AND MOTOR,PROCESS DRIVE - PL 4.0, Item 14.

Oh yuck. That is a source voltage fault.
The electronics module has most likely failed. Umm very expensive also. See if your insurance will cover repairing it. That way you can have Xerox come in fix it and insurance reimburse you. I have had to do calls like this several times and have had insurance pick it up. You may need an estimate to repair from the insurance company.

That error signifies a printhead tilt fault. You need to replace the process drive camshaft kit, part number 8900-Z1.
