Many, Many things will cause a drop signal, interference, structures, moving about, how you hold the device, etc., etc., etc.,the device is bad, just like a Cell phone. Both use Radio Signals, anything transmitted through the air is subject to interference, in one form or another.

I have recently bought an EPC netbook, internet problems

3 mobile are correct. You cannot use the USB modem dongle that 3 supply to access the internet. That dongle requires application software to allow internet programs to access the port and so access the modem in the dongle. Windows CE does not allow this access. Find out which modem chip is in the dongle and google the name of the chip, this should lead you to a driver which you can use through CE although you may have to reconfigure the 3 dongle..

How do i run my ps3 with a usb dongle

you should connect the modem to your notebook, then use the Network Assistant in your OS and share the connection provided by the usb modem .

then the web sharing must be done by a router that should be connect both Playstation and PC.

Zyxel wireless router password

hi . do you guys cant access to your wireless router ? if yes than try this

reset your modem by pressing reset button on your modem for more than 5 seconds so all the information entered will be gone including your password

than insert your modem CD and connect to your modem

set up your internet again
put your password and user name that your ISP gave you
set : get IP from ISP
get DNS from ISP
APPLY
than go to wireless setting

use wpa- personal
and set up a new password eg. (usa2008)

than it will say your computers and network setting doesnt match
go to connect find your modem
right click on it
click on properties
than go security
choose WPA- personal
TKIP
and your password (usa2008) you set to your modem
connect to your internet

im not sure if this is what you mean / thats how i anderstood your problem

NOTE : RESET YOUR MODEM IF YOU HAVE ALL YOUR INTERNET SERVICE INFORMATION

BECAUSE IT WILL DELETE ALL INFORMATION IN YOUR MODEM including user name / password / IP / DNS / and your modems password

My internet keeps dropping out

possible reasons:

Dial up:
  • phone line problem.especially in wet weather, crackling on the line ,call the telco.
  • modem\router on its way out. connect directly to the modem and try it .
  • settings for idle time before disconect needs turning off, (set to 20 minute by default)in most cases.
  • if you have call waiting ,turn it off ,as it can kick you of the net when a call is trying to comes in.
if you use ADSL and/or wireless :
  • some of the above and
  • some USB dongle are prone to drop out,
  • try using a Lan cable
  • brick walls and other hard surfaces can interfere with the signal if you are away some distance from the wireless router.
  • cordless phones can cause problems, keep them away from the modem\wireless router and wireless dongle, or adapter in the pc/laptop
good luck with this and let me know how it goes
