How do I fix a window that wont go up in a 1998 ford mustang?

I'm assuming it's not power window's,you will have to remove to window crank and the door opening latch,on the window crank, there's a clip embedded into crank, you can push door panel in at crank and use a flat head screw driver to push clip off, door handle has to come off,arm rest if you have one,,there are clips holding the panel to door, you can also use a flat head to put in between panel and door and pop loose, you may have to replace clips. After you get panel off ,you will see why the glass won't come up,may be off track.

How do i get the fan blades off the motor ? This is a Emerson silver swan .

HELLO - is the fan cage held on by 4 or so clear small clips along the body? If so carefully undo the clips and remove the fan's protective cage in front and back, set those 2 main pieces aside.

Keep the small clips 'taped' to a sheet of paper that is marked 'fan clips', taped to the paper with clear scotch tape. So you DON'T lose them (better than placing in your pocket ... ).

Then look at the body of the fan where the blades ARE mounted. There is a large button or front cover like part . Try unscrewing to the left left is loose - right is tight, is the rule to follow. The knob or cover should loosen ...

When that is completely loosened pull it off, and voila!

The blades will be on a single casting of plastic. Or perhaps metal -- that comes off on a thin rod or pin. that has a small bail or ball that will 'click' (or lock / unlock) in forward or reverse as to a pull on / off function. Pull that blade assembly forward UNTIL it clears the fan housing completely.

WASH with mild soap. dry completely & Then with "ALL CLEAN" - reassemble =

replace in reverse steps from before. and ENJOY! (COOL AIR, hopefully).

I have never heard of a fan that had the cover 'screwed' on (with screws) as to a front casing like a nose or giant knob. giant dial with logo like covering. Most if not all were as I described to you. The fit is made to only go so far as to the nose, giant knob, giant dial, etc like cover assembly. They are not really made to 'over or undertighten'.

I am hoping this is all you need to know ... Good luck!

Remove impellersp1592

Assuming power is disconnected and pump freed from hoses,:
Pull the clip out from inside the basket housing. The entire housing comes off.
Open the cover at the power end, and
Put a large screwdriver into the slot on the end of the shaft.
Holding screwdriver in one hand unscrew the impeller by hand with the other.
If it is too hard, you will need a special tool that won't damage the impeller.

Atlantic azurea 100T - extractor fan - how do I adjust how long it stays on, I have one that the previous owners of my home put in and it stays on all the time. Please let me know! Thanks, Laura

Hi Laura,

There are many auto timer enabled extractor fan's available in the market but it could cost you more, therefore I would recommend an alternate solution for you.

All you need to do is replace your fan's switch with an auto timer.
For e.g. An auto timer which will switch off your fan after the desired time automatically.

Examples of an auto timers can be found on these links :-

So when the timer goes off , the fan stops by itself , and you don't have to worry about it any more.

Or you can get a new extractor fan with timer as well , check out an example in this link :-

If you want to know how to install a bathroom timer switch , please follow this link :-

Hope this helps ..:) Your feed back would be appreciated , let me know in case you have any queries.

I have moved into a property with a Sector extractor fan in the bathroom - when you turn the light on the extractor starts up -when you turn the light off the extractor continues to run for a long time -...

On some Bathroom extractor fans there is a setting for the amount of time you want the fan to stay on after you turn off the switch, the setting dial is normally at the back of the fan so you need to take the fan down from the ceiling making sure the fan is electrically isolated.

Were do i locate my feus box

There are two fuse boxes

1. Passenger compartment

The Passenger compartment fuse block access door

is on the driver's side edge

of the instrument panel. Pull

off the cover to access the

fuse block.

You can remove fuses with

a fuse extractor. The fuse

extractor is mounted to the
fuse block access door
2.Underhood Fuse and Relay center

The underhood fusehelay center is located in the rear of

the engine compartment near the brake fluid reservoir.

Move the retainer clips for the cover to access the

fuse block.

You can remove fuses with a fuse extractor. The fuse

extractor is mounted to the interior fuse block. To

remove fuses if you don't have a fuseex tractor, hold the

end of the fuse between your thumb and index finger
and pull straight out.

Neff extractor fan not working

Hi rags116,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: You have a neff extractor fan which hasstopped working. The light and fan have both stopped working. Do I know where you can find the fuse as you suspect that this may be the problem. If I don't think it is the fuse would I be able to suggest anything else.
The type is D-AY25-8 If there is another number that is more helpful please let you know. thanks Again your Neff Series 2 extractor has stopped working and you want to save yourself buying a new one!! Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Since both light and fan require low voltage it sounds like a bad transformer. It will be mounted next to the motor. Make sure you turn off the power first.
