Lexmark 9350 don't recognise the computers when trying to scan

I've installed the 9350 drivers on 3 laptops, the printer is connected by an Ethernet cable to the router. After the installation the printer and scanner worked fine on all 3 computers. After a few days, when trying to scan from the printer, I got a massage from the printer menu, which had been searching for the scanning software for a few seconds, that the printer couldn't retrieve the scanning software. Sometimes it gives the same message to all 3 computers and sometime only to one or two of them.
In addition to this, now, only one computer succeeds in printing, while the other two, are getting the printing progress window but the printing doesn't come out.

    When I install the driver, the printer works fine for a few days. Then it stops working. It will show printing in progress and go upto 99%, but nothing will print. So I re-install the driver and it will work fine again for a few days. The same problem has been experienced on three computers at home, 2 of which run XP and one which runs Vista.

1. If you use buttons on the printer to scan, check your firewall settings. Make sure the "program control" settings allow the printer files. Google your firewall and printer model to get the file names and specific instructions.
2. Check your firewall settings anyway (program control and trust control -- ip address of printer should be trusted).
3. You said your printer worked for a few days. If you're running Spybot on all your computers that might explain why your printer drivers worked for a while and quit. Spybot is a good program, but it sometimes displays scary messages about something having tried to change the registry. The message comes up on a restart--sometimes several days after installing a good program. User selecting "no" disables newly installed (good) program.

If all else fails reinstall the driver on every machine, restart immediately and pay close attention to any firewall or spybot quesions. Search your computer, then Google anything you're asked before answering it.

Are you running the Lexmark driver for Windows 7 64 bit.
Try down loading the driver and installing it on your p.c.
Suspect USB driver for printer is missing - Windows can't detect it as it doesn't recognise it. By installing the Lexmark driver it updates windows to recognise the lexmark printer usb interface.

Can't use it with my Mac : one component missing


What is the version of your Mac operating system? It would be best that you uninstall any existing printer driver first > reboot your computer > then reinstall the printer driver.

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X5470 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

Then try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

Why won't my printer scan a document to my laptop?


Make sure the Lexmark OCR scan software is installed on your laptop. The software is available only on the installation disc that came with your printer. If you still haven't installed the software on your computer and you don't have the installation disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center to request for one.
If you were able to scan documents before using your Lexmark printer, it could be just a slight communication issue. A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).

I need to print from laptop to wireless lexmark 9350. how do i do it


Check the following steps:

1. Scan for the available wireless networks on laptop.
2. Check the network and select the desired wireless ssid which is for printer
3. If is it password protected than proviode the password.
4. Connect to the network.
5. Then print.

My pc does not recognise my lexmark x6570 printer


1: are the cables proper connected?
2: is the printer powered on?
3: are the drivers installed?
If they are, try to update the drivers
if they dont, Please install drivers first. DO NOT CONNECT PRINTER.
first complete installation and then connect printer

My computer recognises the printer is there, but nothing prints


With the Lexmark printers communication subsystem you MUST let the driver ask for you to plug in the printer. DO NOT plug the printer into the USB port until told to do so.

To fix a fouled install :
(1) Uninstall the Lexmark drivers in Add Remove Programs
(2) Shutdown the computer
(3) Disconnect the printer from the USB port
(4) Restart the computer
(5) Run the Driver Installation software
(6) Cancel ALL attempts by windows to auto install the printer
(7) When the sofware asks for the printer connect it and continue
