SOURCE: pedals are locked won't spin foward but will spin backward

see the following steps, and fix it. God bless you
Pedal Arms

1

Use a flat screwdriver to unseat the tabs that hold the front top cover in place. This will expose the flywheel and pedal arm connection points. Rotate the flywheel by hand and determine whether lubrication will accomplish the repairs. If the bearings are exposed, use a grease gun with an extension nozzle and lubricate both bearings with lithium grease. If the bearings are damaged or sealed, proceed to the next step.

2

Remove the front and side covers on the main frame. Hold the flywheel with one hand and use a box wrench to loosen the bolts that secure the pedal arms at each side of the flywheel. Pull the arms away from the flywheel and remove the bearings from each side.

3

Test the bearings as before. Lubricate exposed bearings with lithium grease and reinstall them. Sealed bearings must be replaced. Reattach the pedal arms to the flywheel. Replace the main frame covers and front top cover to complete the repairs.

Check the fluid first. Those transmission like to leak. A common fail on those are the solenoid pack.

My 1987 chevy blazer k5 does not go's foward or reverse and does not pump the transmission oil out

It really sounds like your transmission oil pump has failed.
This pump pumps the oil into the transmission passageways to make the vehicle move forward or backwards.
Either the pump has failed, or perhaps the filter is plugged up and will not allow the pump any oil.
God bless your efforts.

1997 ford expedition wont engage in foward or backward

That happened to my old truck, an 04 dodge, and I said to myself " chancery, old chap, this must mean a new transmission" , I was mistaken. The solenoid pack in the tranny was bad. I had that replaced for a fraction of the cost of a new tranny and never once had another transmission problem.

My jeep goes foward and backward but someone told me that 3rd gear is out... could this be something simple?

Doubtful. You could try changing the transmission fluid and filter. no garantee though. more than likely you will need a new transmission

Mazda wont go foward or reverse.

If you are lucky, you are just out of transmission fluid. Add fluid to refill the transmission to the mark on the dip stick. Afterward, you need to determine where the old transmission fluid leaked out and fix the leak. If refilling the transmission does not fix the problem, you then need to look at fixing the transmission. Are you sure the shift linkage is ok?
