SOURCE: Percentage button!!

The Casio MS-80TV requires you to input percentage calculations differently than other calculators. To calculate percentage change addition for this example, you must input "12000X20%+", for subtraction, you must input "12000x20%-".

As I added on to the previous solution on the other problem.

"Okay, I did what the best solution did and worked with it.

"1. press 2nd F (left top corner)
2. ENG/FIX (the button next to 2nd F)
3. press 0 (if you don't want calculator to round off any decimals)"

In order to get your exact value of pi, in step #3, instead of 0, press the decimal [ . ]
This should give you no decimals when entering a number and give you 3.141592654... when you input pi.
Hope that works/helps."

### All my register will is beep

If the beep is happening every second or so with out you touching it, the printer has a fault. If it happens when you press buttons, try this: If you press clear (CL) and press some of the numeric buttons, you should see numbers appear on the display. If not, probably a keyboard fault. If you can get numbers but just a beep when you press a department (item button) then you are not logged in. Enter your secret PIN number and press the CASH# (cashier number) button in the top corner (on most models in this series) to log on. If you need to program new secret PIN numbers, one of the users has the programming manual here:

### Program a cashier onto a Casio TK 7000

It should be the 05 file on that machine so you just add the cashier number in front of the file number (105 for cashier 1, 205 for cashier 2 etc). So go to program 2 then use the 05 code as I've said to edit the text. The text entry procedure is shown in the manual so just run through that to familiarise yourself. If you don't have the text entry information in your manual, then you have the wrong one. You need this one:

### I HAVE A SHARP ER-A440 CASH REGISTER, AND AM PROGRAMMING THE CASHIERS, IT ACCEPTED THE FIRST 4, BUT WILL NOT GO ANY FURTHER, AND IT IS SUPPOSE TO GO TO 99.

4 Cashiers are standard. Your dealer should have set extra extra cashiers in memory if you needed them. If you want to open more memory, you will need a service key and the memory codes from the dealer manual. If you don't have the dealer programming manual, C-tech collective have it here:

### HOW DO I CALCULATE STANDARD DEVIATION FOR CALCULATOR T1-30XA

Hi dear friend,
I am providing it with an example.

- I am sorry that the instructions from the maker of the calculator on how to calculate a standard deviation fell short of your expectations. All you have to do is follow them key stroke for key stoke, but enter your own data. If a number is repeated 3 times like the number 55, you can enter it 3 times or use the shortcut in the exemple
55 [2nd][FREQ]3 [Sigma+].
If you make a mistake and enter the wrong number, use the [Sigma-] key to remove it. That is similar to what a cashier does when an item is entered twice: it is entered a third time but with minus sign.
Every time an item is entered, the display shows the total number of items so far. When it is finished the cashier press the key that sums up the prices to get the total. This is the role of the [2nd][Sigma X] key combination.
The average number of the data is obtained by the [2nd][x bar] combination. The last two key combinations display the two type of deviations.

### How do I find the standard deviation?

Hello,
Here is a detailed exemple. Hope it helps.

Some comments on the various variables (should the information be needed. If not need, please skip it.)

1.All you have to do is follow the instructions key stroke for key stoke, but enter your own data.
2. If a number is repeated 3 times like the number 55, you can enter it 3 times or use the shortcut in the exemple
55 [2nd][FREQ]3 [Sigma+].
3.If you make a mistake and enter the wrong number, use the [Sigma-] key to remove it. That is similar to what a cashier does when an item is entered twice: it is entered a third time but with minus sign.
4. Every time an item is entered, the display shows the total number of items so far. When it is finished the cashier press the key that sums up the prices to get the total. This is the role of the [2nd][Sigma X] key combination.
5. The average number of the data is obtained by the [2nd][x bar] combination. The last two key combinations display the two type of deviations.

Check the theory you have been taught and try again. If that is not the type of statistics you were supposed to do, then give more information.

### On our rpe system there are some tables that will not closeout and are showing active for several days the same item(s) ring up at different prices

Sounds like two different problems. The tables not closing out are probably one of two things. The invoice got put on hold or the cashier trying to close the table didn't open the table or doesn't have correct permissions to close table. Worse case scenario is a corrupt entry in database.

Different prices on same item could be someone playing with the special pricing on the item or if you have time based menus setup, they are actually pointing to different items that display the same.

I program rpe menus remotely and could give you a hand. Contact me at sysadmin@ccybernet.com or call 814-226-9612.

### Sharp er-a330 cash register

That's a programming option -- whether you have to sign in for each sale, or can just keep going until you do a Cashier Z reading. But this on is not in your Owner Manual. Most Sharpregisters have a deeper level of programming, called SRV mode. It's not marked on your mode switch, but it's one click past PGM. You need a SRV key to access it and a Service Manual to know what's there. Sharp doesn't supply the SRV key or instructions, because it allows you to change Grand Totals and other things that would allow an employee to steal without detection.

Any servicing Sharp register dealer should have the SRV key, and this change is simple enough that they might do it for free if you bring the register to them along with these instructions and ask nicely.

Turn to SRV mode.
910 . @/FOR CA/AT
Turn to REG mode.

Sign in and try running consecutive sales or No Sales without signing in between them.

You can still change Cashier numbers between sales by signing in with a different number.
If you touch the CASH # button without putting a number in first, it will sing out you current cashier, and you'll need to sign someone in again.
If you are in X/Z mode, and you touch the CASH # button, it will print a Cashier Z reading and automatically sign out all cashiers. Sign in before your next sale.

Good luck,
Eric
