Check to see if kettle is plugged in, and Switch has power, Beyond that replacement parts do not exist for Nostalgia Equipment.

On Friday at dinner time when I switched on my Russel hobb kettel the plug melted and went on fire, I have had the kettel for 2 years now. Hate to think what would have happened if I had not been there

I am glad you are safe. This shouldn't have happened, it did. Fortunately you were to manage the episode which could have become a disaster. Do you have a question?

Thanks for your comment @ FixYa.com

The machine goes on but when the button is pushed, it makes noise as if it is making coffee but no water comes out. This occurs periodically. Does it simply need descaling/

you should try that first,,,i do it this way,,,,get some kettel cleaner,, mix it up in a jug in warm water first ,,then tip it in the coffee maker and catch it in the jug when it come out again so you can tip it back in,,,,run it through a fuw times,,,then flush the coffee maker out with lot and lots of fresh water before you make coffee,,,or you could be a little unwell drinking kettel cleaner?

This was bought last xmas and has not worked since the late spring. when you turn the power button on it start to make the noise like its gonna brew then nothing comes out and it turns it self off.

it sounds like its full of scale,,,get yourself some kettel cleaner mix it up in warm water in a jug first, then fill the coffee maker with it and try to make a brew with no coffee in it,,,when you do this catch the kettel cleaner in a jug as you will need to run it through a fuw times to clean the brewer out,,only after its flowing good do you stop running kettel cleaner,,after that flush it out with lot and lots of fresh clean water ,,,before you make or drink from it!!!! or it may clean you out as well?

FORGOT HOW TO HOOK-UP MONITOR (PF790) TO MAC G4.

Have a look on the back of the monitor for the output socket.

If the socket is blue with 15 round holes then this is a SVGA socket, if it is white then it's a DVI socket. Though I believe that this monitor only had SVGA outputs.

Look for these same sockets on the G4, and connect the cable to the matching socket.

If you have one which is blue and one white you will need an adapter for the cable.
