42.1i passenger side rear has power but sound is very quiet and tinny. all 3 other speakers work fine.

It sounds like the woofer part of the speaker is bad, while the tweeter is still good. You are going to have to replace the speaker. Speakers are generally sold in pairs, so it would be best to replace both rear speakers at the same time.

2007 avalanche rear speakers have no sound output. I don't believe they both could blow at the same time.... the rear radio is not on so it isn't that muting it. Is there some issue where they may mute...

I too have no sound from rear speakers...I bought speakers thinking they were simply not there. Went to install them and found that there all of a sudden was sound there. Put the rear door panel back on and it still worked until the next day. No sound from either side on rear again. I read somewhere that a seatbelt could be damaging a wiring harness causing it so I took off the panels covering the seat belts and found no way that the harness could be damaged from the belt. Weird how they worked momentarily when i had the pass rear door panel off though.

The rear passenger side speaker not working

there is probably an in car amp for those speakers underneath that seat. i know there was one for m car. take a good hard look underneath it to see if any wires are astray and simply attach it to where it fits!

Radio on but no sound 2003 chevy impala

Hello! Go to the trunk compartment.Check power in the amplifier mounted in the upper deck, you should have constant power in the 2 orange thick wires. If not check, rear right passenger under floor carpet to see water(typical in the impalas)if there is,you will see the broken wire there. I hope this help.

Rear driver side power lock does work.

it sounds like the wires going to the lock assembly have a break in them or the lock actuater has failed, easiest way is to run test leads from a 12 VDC source to the actuater ans see if it works if not most likely a wire has failed or if it does not work the actuater is bad and needs replaced. Thanks Don
