Have maxi cosi infant car seat (new born to 9 months) took straps out of back to give them a scrub and it's still attached to bottom of seat but i cannot remember how to put the straps back up through...

Good Afternoon

Due to the safety implications of the harness being incorrectly put back, the carseat would need to come back for the engineers to replace it. Please contact the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 to discuss booking it in.

Is my car seat still good? I received an Arrivo 22-010 car seat as a gift but I noticed that it is expired (Dec, 2010) I just took it out of the box and it hasn't been used. Is it still ok?

Well the car seat is still good per say. But if you are asking if there was a recall on it or not this is the main site that will tell you everything about any recalled car seat. http://www.carseat.org/Recalls/recall.shtml

I am trying to remove the infant insert. Reference is made to a "splitter", but we can't find one on the back of the car seat where it is supposed to be.

Wow, brings back memories! The splitter is the strange metal piece on the back of the car seat with straps attached to it. See page 9 of your user manual for a picture OR a manual for the 2008 (& newer) model can be downloaded at this link: http://www.safety1st.com/usa/eng/DJGFiles/ProductDocuments/43583340D.pdf

Enjoy that sweet baby! They really do grow up way too fast!

I safety 1rst convertible car seat w/no manual

they are trickey, to get manual, find make and model number then do a search on the makers web-site, they are req. to have it available free. but even most manuals are useless for what you are trying to do, just study it and figure it out. main thing with any baby seat is that it is properly installed and adjusted to the infant

I bought a Cosco Eddie Bauer car seat and stroller for my grandson at a garage sale, but I do not know how to put the car seat in the stroller.

@jancstar1: It is not illegal to sell used car seats in the U.S. It is illegal to sell RECALLED car seats.

Graco snugride infant carseat

first off, make sure of the age of the car seat as there have been safety recalls with this model
here is the web site link to the graco company
http://www.gracobaby.com/customerservice/recall.aspx?categoryID=1

from the home page of www.gracobaby.com you should be able to find the instructions based on the product/serial number on the car seat
