Can I use a universal sony remote (model #RM-VLZ260) on a NEC Projector (model #LT265)? If I can how do I program the remote to work with the projector? Also, can I use the same remote for two projectors...

No. This remote control have no set-up codes to NEC brand devices. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability.
Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.
Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and the Search will start at once as you type in, and will show you all the related posts. It will make surf easy.

How do I change inputs?

A better remote control is a Logitech Harmony remote. It will work every other component in your audio/video system and will never become obsolete. It programs from their website, so if you ever get a new TV or change brands of audio components, you simply revisit their website to program in the changes.

Problema con control universal sony rm-vz220

If you wish to buy a genuine remote control, you have to contact the authorized service center. If you wish to buy a universal remote control, you should know about, which brand remote control have set-up codes to your TV brand, and buy that one according to availability. The first thing you have to do is, to confirm the number of digits in the setup codes to your TV brand. There are 4 digit, 5 digit, 3 digit and even 2 digit codes. You can make it sure by entering '0s' at the code enter window the TV dispays, and asks codes. Enter 'Zeros', and count how many zeros can be enterd. That number will be the number of digit of setup code, the TV/Device need. If you can enter 5 zeros, the number of digit in the set-up code to your TV is a '5' digit one, if only 2 zeros can be enterd, the number of digits in the set-up code to your TV should be a 2 digit one, and so on.. If you wish to get more details about this, try the sites linked here. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/
http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ It has setup code list, and setup procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check the site in 'Mosaic' view. It will make search easy.

What universal remote control will work with a Norcent flat screen tv

Everyone says the Harmony (by Logitech) will run anything. If you don't want to spend that much, consider a learning remote. You use the existing remote (assuming it works) to program the new one. Something like: Sony RM VLZ620
