If you have a phone that is broken, a screen that is not working or just want to move phone numbers to a new phone, this article will help you do that.
If your phone numbers are stored on a external SD card you can plug the SD card into your computer or another phone to retrieve the numbers. You will need a SD card reader or a computer that already has one. Some newer laptops have a SD card reader. You can find external SD card readers at local electronics stores. I recommend visiting www.newegg.com(card reader examples) for your hardware needs. I have used this site extensively and the customer service, pricing and products are A+.
If your numbers are stored on the SIM card, you can move the SIM card to a new compatible phone. The SIM card generally contains your phone number and other account information from the phone carrier, however, you can use it to store phone contacts as well.
Your local phone dealer like AT&T or Verizon may be able to help you retrieve the data or move it to a new phone compatible phone.
Sorry there's no hope of getting the contacts back after a master reset. If you saved any of the numbers on the SIM card they will be there but whatever was there on phonebook is now erased. If you ever connected your phone to a pc through pc suite. Then you can retrieve your contacts from that PC.
can you use a USB cable from V950 to retrieve all history and text (sic) Yes you can you can get USB cable and software from ebay, just search by phone name and put the word usb, after it. for a small outlay, This will enable you to plug in the phone and download anything that is on it.
If your numbers were saved on a SIM card and it wasn't ruined by the water, yes. However if it does not have a SIM card, and the telephone can not power on, my apologies, your numbers aren't retrievable.
Hey charlottelew, They should be on them memory stick, but I do know that some cameras have an internal memory built in (usually small). If you are seeing the image on the LCD screen after you take the picture it should be stored on your memory stick. You could try opening the images on your computer using a card reader hooked into a USB port. Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
