Re: cs-1510 makes loud high pitch noise when copying
Loud noise is usually coming from the laser unit. if you can ger to it, lubricate it's polygon motor shaft with some oil. It usually works fine afterwards. It is a bit of a hassle to remove the laser unit.

The Cyan toner cartridge is jammed, it needs to be taken out and try and move the white plastic gear round a bit to free it. It normally is very stiff and wont move much, but if you can move it a fraction that will do. One thing, did you overfill the cartridge with toner? sometimes that will cause them to seize up. Delboy
Yes, the machine will only make single copies if the toner light is on. Was the toner cart genuine Copystar? Or perhaps Kyocera cart? The machine is made by Kyocera and marketed under both name brands, however, the toner carts are different for both machines. I have seen many times that aftermarket carts will not always work properly.
AP = Adding Powder (toner) it's not an error
it's adding toner from the container into the developer unit while displaying AP. when there is enough toner in the container the AP will disappear and copies can be made when there is not enough toner in the container the toner empty light will come on.
