Philip/Magnavox tv will not come on

My 12 yr old Philips Magnavox 32'' CRT TV Model TS3254 C102 does notpower up no more. There is no power at all, no green light, no sound,no picture. It doesn't do a thing when trying to turn it on.
What can I check inside of this unit to determine the problem.

The first thing is to check to see if the fuse is blown,if so replace with a 5 amp fuse, fuse is located near were the power cord connects to the board, make sure set is disconnected from power.

Philips Magnavox TS3254 C102

I would suspect on this model which is not projection but a 32 inch crt type set---broken or bad solder connections first and second something triggering the shutdown (latch) circuit it uses.

Someone would have to be able to open it safely and remove board and look for around the high voltage transformer cracked or poor connections---instant shutdown would almost always be a short of some type but if it runs f o r a few minutes a bad connection is more likely---even one.

POWERS DOWN AFTER 4 SEC

crt beam current too high causing shutdown as you know. Check cathode voltage of each cathode, normal levels depend on picture is around 130-150V. Missing 200V to crt board. Screen voltage problem normal 300-500V. Flyback or bad crt. ABL circuit problem. Jungle IC.
