Your battery is a Rechargeable lithium-ion (included)and is'nt desined to be removed its recharged when your mp3 player is pluged into your computer and it holds about 25 hours of play time if your really need to take it out then you'll have to take the mp3 player case apart not recomended.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to delete a file recorded in the player?

Hi kkittappa...
Try this easy way of deleting files in your mp3 player

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

Trying to reset my Insignia ns-dv2g and it wont let me I have pushed in the reset button and it wont do any thing Help

Try removing the battery, then installing a new one. If the player will not reset afterward, I recommend returning to the place of purchase to pursue service options.

I LEFT MY INSIGNIA NS-DV4G PLUGGED INTO MY COMPUTER FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS.IN WHICH IVE DONE MANY TIMES BEFORE..BUT MY COMPUTER WENT INTO SLEEP MODE AND WHEN I RETURNED TO MY INSIGNIA IT WONT DO...

Remove the battery to force the unit to power off. Reinstall a fresh battery and reset the unit by inserting a thin tool (e.g. an unbent paper clip) into the reset port. A schematic can be found in the owner's manual. If these steps don't resolve the problem, you may return to the place of purchase to pursue service options.

2) removing the battery for 10 seconds?
3) connecting it to your PC with the battery removed?
4) connecting it to your PC and pressing the reset button for 10 seconds?
