Fixing plug and play problem with mouse

Delayed reactions or no response when keys are pressed and lack of scrolling maneuverability are problems commonly associated with a defective mouse device. In some cases, the mouse cursor may even disappear and then reappear. Any one of these navigational issues, if left unaddressed, will lead to a reduction in productivity. Troubleshooting is simplified by using the Device Manager utility, because it is directed by the symptoms manifested.

Click "Start" and then "Run." Alternatively, if your mouse is a universal serial bus (USB) plug-and-play device, skip this step and go directly to Step 7. Type "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotation marks) and then click "OK." Select the "Hardware" tab and click "Device Manager." Click the expansion node for "Mice and other pointing devices." Right-click on the active mouse and then click "Properties." Go to the "General" tab and click "Troubleshoot." Follow the recommended suggestions to solve the issue. If the problem is not solved and your mouse is a USB plug-and-play device, proceed to Next step Step 7. Install the Microsoft Fix-it USB Troubleshooting Tool (see Link Below ). Then follow the prompts to repair the mouse.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A305D-S6848 For a

I. Reinstall the driver:
Right click on My Computer (XP)/Computer (Vista) icon on the Desktop, click on Properties, the on Devices, then in the devices list look for your camera (you might have to open the branches to see it). You may find it under a branch named ‘Image Processing Devices’ or something similar (I don’t know the exact wording, because my system is not English).
Select your camera entry and then double click on it. Under the Driver tab, select Update driver and choose Reinstall Driver and then the second option ‘Look for Device Software in the Computer”.

II. If that doesn't solve your problem, download and install the most update driver from TOSHIBA support pages:
  1. Start here: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z465.exe
  2. Click on 'Download'
  3. Select your product Category (Laptops), Family (Satellite) and Model (A305D-S6848) and press GO
  4. Refine your search by selecting your computer system OS and by selecting 'Multimedia' in the Category list box.
  5. Download the camera utility.
  6. Install it

Security camera hook up

There are several types of hook-up that will allow you to use your surveillance camera with your pc. If you have Windows XP or Windows 2000 you can use Belkins Video Bus II which will allow you to plug your RCA Jacks into it's RCA jacks then plug Belkins USB connection into your computer depending on your software that comes with your camera equipment will depend on the quality of sound you will get. The Belkin Video Bus II comes with a cd with the drivers required. This device ( Belkin's Video Bus II ) will not work with Windows Vista!!! There are probably several other devices that will allow you to do a hook up but, the price will vary between 40.00 for Belkin to well over 150.00 for others. Check with Circuit City / Best Buy / Compusa. etc....

No sound

Hi,

I am Satya.
The problem can be solved in the following ways for Windows users:
1.i.We need to click on Start Button.
ii.Next we need to click on Control Panel from the start menu.
iii. From the control panel window we need to click on "Sound & Audio devices" icon.
iv.From the Sound & Audio devices properties window we need to uncheck the Mute checkbox.
I hope this will solve the problem.
If it doesn't try this:
2.i.We need to right click on My computer Icon from the start menu.
ii.From the menu we need to click on properties. From the system properties window we need to click on Hardware Tab.
iii.Next we need to click on Device Manager button.
iv.From the device manager window select "sound, video & game controllers".
v.Right click on it and from the new menu click "scan for hardware changes".

Now proceed to play any audio file.If you get an audio output then the problem is solved.
In case you don't get an audio output click on the + sign next to "sound, video & game controllers" select "legacy audio drivers" and from the Action menu in Device Manager window click on "update driver"
Follow the steps as mentioned in the update driver wizard,by downloading the driver from the internet.Click on Next.
After completing the driver installation.
check with the audio output.
If this solves the problem then you are done.
If this doesn't try installing the Audio driver from the Driver CD that you had received when you purchased your notebook.
Hope this has helped to solve your problem.

Thank You & have a nice day!
