Question about JVC SP-PW100 Subwoofer
SOURCE: JVC Subwoofer problem.
You may have a break in the wire. You can find out by slowing moving your fingers down the wire until you notice sound coming from the subwoofer. You can fix it yourself by cutting about an inch away from the break both ways. Then cuttings some of the wire off, so the copperwire is exposed. then wrap the two copperwire ends together and seal it with elections tape. or Try replacing the 60 watt subwoofer wire.

You need a receiver. A surround sound receiver is a 5-channel amplifier with a line-level subwoofer out. These are available at electronics stores. Receivers usually have digital inputs like optical and coaxial that you can use with the S/PDIF output of your PC.

I would suggest to buy the entire cone speaker because the inner windings is harder to find or not available.
The cone speaker part number is: CR160058-01. Try contacting this website to find the cone speaker or you could find a cheaper speaker cone with the same dimensions and wattage.
I can also send you the service manual for this subwoofer.
