SOURCE: JVC Subwoofer problem.

You may have a break in the wire. You can find out by slowing moving your fingers down the wire until you notice sound coming from the subwoofer. You can fix it yourself by cutting about an inch away from the break both ways. Then cuttings some of the wire off, so the copperwire is exposed. then wrap the two copperwire ends together and seal it with elections tape. or Try replacing the 60 watt subwoofer wire.

SOURCE: can i connect JVC SXXSW6000 home theatre to my pc...if so how?

You need a receiver. A surround sound receiver is a 5-channel amplifier with a line-level subwoofer out. These are available at electronics stores. Receivers usually have digital inputs like optical and coaxial that you can use with the S/PDIF output of your PC.

SOURCE: my jvc subwoofer inner speaker windings blow up

I would suggest to buy the entire cone speaker because the inner windings is harder to find or not available.
The cone speaker part number is: CR160058-01. Try contacting this website to find the cone speaker or you could find a cheaper speaker cone with the same dimensions and wattage.
I can also send you the service manual for this subwoofer.

Subwoofer not working

do you have a red led or nothing? the problem that has been happening with these sub woofers is the two power transistors are going they are TIP31C and TIP32C on the power supply board. Also the resistors are going bad after that and the two bigger caps on the pwr supply board need to be replaced. you see the caps blow which cause the power to peak and dip in the power amplifier and then peaks too much blows the transistors and then all of the resistors.

Jvc sxpw650, my house was hit by lightening and now my sub makes a loud noise and the receiver which was grounded reads overload after the speakers work for a few seconds! please help? can i just replace...

The reason it goes into overload is due to the fact that the power amp section parts have developed a short and thus causing an overload in the power supply. The affected parts need replacing and I rather suspect that the subwoofer amp section has also developed a fault. I rather think with the lighting damage that you might have to replace the lot! And not just the subwoofer!! If your house was insured replacements might be covered by that. If not you sound like your in for a big bill!

My subwoofer atarted making deep humming sound,

Some kind of semi-conductor in either the power supply section or the main amp has failed and acting like a piece of wire, which is why the fuse is blowing. You might want to look around for damage or burning. If it's a transistor or diode that has gone an Ohm Meter will show it up well. For when you put the test probes on the terminals of the suspect part, it will be like you had touched the probes together!

HOW TO REPAIR A DAMAGED JBL PB12 it just stopped working, somebody told me it was unfixable due the part are very hard to get I guess the internal amplifier got broken

There is a quick way to find out if the parts are hard to get. Look inside a make a note of the IC and Transistor numbers. Don't bother with the resistors and caps. Put the numbers into Google and see what comes up.

Mackie swa 1801 power amp R7 100 ohm resistor smokes when powered up..

You likely have other parts blown as well, but Q3 (MJE15033) AND/OR r8 (1 OHM/0.5 Watt) are blown. I suspect that Q3 has a base-collector short and you will find several of the output transistors are fried as well Q4, Q5, Q15, Q16. I suspect that the Zeners D14, D25 may be blown.

When restarting this, put a 100 Watt lampin series with teh 120 volt power to limit current and avoid destroying freshly repaired parts due to a few bad ones not found.
