Re: Refresh Database

I Had the same problem, called sansa, They really Helped! this is what i did, and it worked! Got to under the downloads section, download the frimware and install it. Next turn your sansa off.(i had to unscrew the backing and take out the battery then replace it.) Turn on the hold button, and hold down the record button, then press the on button. this initializes a different mode, your scrren should go black with little white letters. then simply plug in your sansa and the Sansa Updater should do the rest.

Re: Refresh Database

This is happening alot aparently, Sandisk is telling everyone to just reset it but that aparently isnt really working. only suggestion is to set the USB mode to MTP and try it.

Sansa e250 screen is stuck on refresh database

Press the "lock" button to where the Orange is showing. Then press the record button on the left side of the MP3 for a bit. Try this several times. I did it twice and it worked! M.P.

How do you refresh database?

This just means that the player is refreshing the songs on the list, it does not mean that you have to do anything.
