Does it sound kinda like a jet engine revving up? If so then the printhead may be going bad.

Noise while printing - Diagnosis Pt 1

<p>Unexpected noise (such as clicking, thumping, or grinding) from an branded device are heard during printer operation.<br /> <br /> <span><b>NOTE: </b></span><br /> Noises can be caused by a number of things, some of which may not be addressed in this document. This document deals strictly with the isolation and potential resolution of known noises through troubleshooting.<br /> <p>The following table describes some of the noises to be expected in a printer functioning normally:<br /> <span>Noise occurs:</span> <br /> <span>Additional information:</span> <br /> During power-up<br /> When the printer periodically makes humming and buzzing sounds as the carriage assembly moves around on the right/left side of the printer, the printer is actually cleaning the ink cartridges. After scanning, it will make a long dragging noise as the scanner is brought back to the home position (could be on the left or right side).<br /> Post-printing with no additional jobs in the queue<br /> Post-completion of a print job and without another job in queue: At the end of a print job, there will be a noise on the left/right side of the printer as the pens are being capped. The printer may try to do this a couple of times, which is normal.<br /> Between print jobs<br /> The printer may make humming and buzzing sounds as the carriage assembly moves around on the right/ left side of the printer during the cleaning of the ink cartridges.<br /> In the accessories<br /> There may be some noise associated with accessories (ADF, duplexer, etc.) during the initial positioning and during normal operation.<br />

My Canon MG8120 all-in-one makes a loud noise when copying (not when printing). How do I fix it?

Dear
from the question I understand, the scanner move to right and during return it starts noise.

The problem with scanner assembly, It might be dust accumulated on gears, the scanner belt might have loose or the grips of the belt has worn out. Proper cleaning and lubricating the moving parts may overcome also if the belt worn out it has to be replaced.
In case of at home position it gives noise then the home position sensor may dirty/dusty, it has to be cleaned.

thanks.

Why Samsung CLP-300 Printer making annoying/loud clicking noises?

So try to get the black toner cartridge out of the Machine. On zhe backside of the Cardridge is a gear. Try to turn the gear, maybe the Toner inside is clump together. When you can turn it very easy in both directions it's fine.

VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN PRINTING WITH MY SAMSUNG CLP-300

You all say that the toner cartridge is okay, so it could be the hole OPC Image Drum or the ITB which is the tranfer Belt.
The Tranfer Belt is behind the Image Unit.
