On a Dell laptop to toggle between the lcd and an external monitor hold down the Fn key>lower left of the keyboard and strick the F8. However this turns one monitor off and the other monitor on. to set up so both come on you have to go to the advanced setting within your display properites. If you have an Nvidia card, you can go into the Nvida control panel and select mulitple monitors.

How to open the back of a model m 6332 laptop

Get a philip's head (star) screwdriver and remove all screws from the bottom of the laptop. Remove the battery and any screws revealed under the battery.

Next look for a thin straight-edge and -very gently- pry the keyboard loose; if you have trouble at this step, look underneath again for any small holes in the metal casing directly under the keyboard.

Also look for any removable rubber or plastic bumpers as these often have structural screws underneath them.

Finally, with the keyboard removed, you should see a few more screws which will at last allow the case to come apart and get to the boards underneath.

You may have a ram issue, remove one stick to see if there is a change and swap it out with the next one, if the problem goes away, the last stick you pulled is the problem. Next pull the hard drive and reseat it back to see if you can get it working, If no change! use the recovery disc in an attempt to reload the operational system. Finally take it to a computer tech if all else fails.

In the Device Status, check to see if, “working properly” If so do the following; Click on the Driver button,” once the window open “check (two) areas. Rollback Driver, “if this area is not “Grayed-out; rollback drivers, “apply, and click “OK.” Restart the computer.” The second area is the “Update Driver,” Next, click to update! Apply and click OK. Final step is to “restart the computer.” Important sometimes the ‘Drivers” can be “inactive mode” not disabled, nor recognized), just not functioning correctly. let me tell u something....
Windows has been up to some stupidity with respect to their Auto updates/Vista lite version/Win7 etc
they have left out many of the 3rd party drivers to make it more liter so that it will be accepted more widely as they can price it lower....
also while installing the OS(Vista and Win7) the process missess some of the files.
Go back to XP if possible...
