Is error happens mostly when usb devices or diskettes is inserted to the computer.. The computer tries to boot from them but when there isn't any boot data it just keeps making that error..

Just try to remove all extra usb-devices, cd's/dvd's and floppies/diskettes connected to the computer, so it's only monitor, power, mouse, keyboard and internet that is plugged in..

Tip

My AutoCAD software does not start anymore.

Hi.

If AutoCAD was starting until recent times, and suddenly stopped working, that means that there is either a corrupted registry or system value, or that one of the Autocad files is damaged.

Below the solution for Mac and Windows.

If you have Windows:

The first fix that you can try is doing a system restore to a date before the problem occurred. System restore will bring all settings and registry values back to the chosen date, so that if the problem is a corrupted registry, then Autocad will restart working.

Most of the times, System restore will be enough to fix the problem. If system restore does not solve the problem, it means that one or more of the Autocad files may be damaged. In that case the only solution will be uninstalling and re-installing back the design software. You will need a disk and an installation key to reinstall AutoCAD.

Try first doing a system restore, that usually works.

Here instructions on how to do system restore:

How to perform System Restore on Windows XP

How to use System Restore in Windows Vista

If you have a Mac:

On a Mac try first using repair permissions. Close all application and log off. Log back on. Go to Finder, Applications. Utilities, Disk Utility. After the message saying "Getting Disk Information" select Volume, then Repair Permissions.

If that does not work reinstall Mac OS or do an update.

If still no luck, you have to reinstall AutoCAD using AutoCAD CD and installation key.

Regards.

I am getting an error stating "Designer has encountered a disk I/O error trying to access the file", while trying to open a dsf file. I am using micrografx for more than 2 years now and lately i...

Close Designer 9.
Open the folder containing the 'DSF' file.
Try to copy the file into a different folder, or onto a USB memory-stick.
Do you still get the same error-message?
If so, then the problem is that your disk-drive has a problem;
your problem is _not_ a problem with the Designer 9 software.

Your disk-drive could be "dying". Backup all your important files.
Consider replacing the disk-drive, before it COMPLETELY fails.

Photoshop Elements 7 is not working on my vaio with vista 64 bit

Starting Adobe Photoshop Elements, the Editor returns the error message "Unable to continue because of hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable," and the Organizer returns the error message "Interface not found."

Solution: Enable the Event log service.
1. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Double-click Administrative Tools, then Services.
3. Right-click Event Log and select Start.
Note: The Event Log can only be disabled in the Microsoft System Configuration utility (msconfig) under the Services tab, but should never be turned off.
Background information
The error messages "hardware or system error..." or "interface not found" when you start either the Editor or Organizer indicate a system level problem. These messages display if Event Log is disabled. The Event Log is a Microsoft service that should never be disabled.
