Question about MPC Computers TransPort T1200 Notebook
Looking through your owners manual, there are several keyboard shortcuts that can at least increase the appearance, although it sounds like a simple connection problem. Very hard to find a repair manual, although most transport laptops have a very thin multiwire cable connecting the monitor to the keyboard. Sounds like that cable has one or more wires broken, or just possibly a bad connection where the cable connects to the mbd. If you have the expertise to disassemble and repair, those cables are available at many places like Fry's Electronics, however many are soldered in place and require quite a bit of technical expertise to replace. I would suggest doing some price shopping at some of your local repair shops. Here is what the manual says:
The display panel is blank when the system is turned on
It is normal if the display flickers a few times during shutting down or powering up.
Nothing appears on the screen.
Adjust the brightness and/or contrast.
