I just installed a Samsung 12x CD-Rom and it played fine for a couple
of weeks until the following problem appeared: as the drive was
attempting to read data(it happened on more than one title) I would
get a blue, DOS-type screen with the message: data error reading
(CD-Rom Title here) and would suggest i clean the CD before
continuing, which of course does not help. It usually forces me to
reboot my system to get Win95 back up & running. One thing I do
notice on these titles is that the CD-ROM drive is spinning almost
constantly. Does anyone have any suggestions or tweaks to my system's
settings to attempt to correct this, or is it time to take the drive
back to the dealer? Thanks in advance,
Bob Shasteen

warranty runs out just to have them check it.
"A sufficiently advanced programming error is
indistinguishable from the Windows 95 operating system."
