Hello, im sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your gate opener. but it depends, on if your opener is still under warrenty and how the board got damaged, GTO "which is the manufacturer of mighty mule" is very picky about returning goods, so you MIGHT be able to get it replaced, but just getting it repaired is out of the question because of the components being heat sensitive and having software in the board, if you have more questions please email me a [email protected] 

Well this is a BAD situation, because your opener was NOT grounded, you will have to replace the Circuit board, but since this damage was caused by an act of god "nature, being lightning struck" Than GTO, "mighty mule" will probably NOT replace the board leaving you to BUY new ones, which are about $100 to $200

Well if your board is getting power and the power supply is ok, but when you try to activate the opener, and do not get a response, than you have a faulty board, im Guessing you have a GTO 1000, Mighty Mule 700, or Mighty Mule FM500 series

These are resistors.

I don't have the schematic but if there is an R361, it may be the same as the other Rx61 components.
