Question about Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Calculator

ERR:DATA TYPE Whenever i Click the "Y=" or "Graph button a screne pops up that says ERR:DATA TYPE. I have turned off all my stat plots and cleared my lists. I have asked my teacher and we are thoroughly perplexed. PLEASE HELP ME!!

Have you checked your "window" settings?

X min=-10
X max =10....etc.

Please post bck if this didn't affect it.

    I have THE Same problem. Also Every time I try to graph sommering INVALID DIMENSION pops up. I have already checked my lists, turnde my Stat plot off and nothing works. I cant reset my calculator because i still neef the program that is on it

on a calc that's work properly, in the 'y=' screen, none of the 'Plot#' things are highlighted. try pressing 'y=', and if you have a 'Plot#" in a black box, go up to it and press enter to un-highlight it.
either it will work as soon as you press 'graph',or you have another problem
