They are not marked with small White letters and lines that visually isolate what ones are what? most boards are marked in this way, you may need a magnifier to see them. i looked over the manual, it is not showing a good picture of it, but i would look on the left side manual view,or the bottom left area, see if you can make it out. the lettering i spoke of. i have had alot of p3 boards in the past, never saw one unmarked. hope this is helpful, if you need further assistance reply. good luck- ok i did some looking do you do you see j10b1? are they marked, other than 1 or 2? this is the one i am looking at now.

I also lost my motherboard manual and I need to connect the front panel leds to the right areas so the stinking puter will fire up

google search the numbers on the cmos bios chip to find out what motherboard you have and then google this found number or the name of the motherboard with the words user manual. Hopefully there is a manual on the internet for your motherboard.

I need to figure out where to plug in the Power LED and the power SW wires to the mother board

Hi
The link for the motherboard manual can be found here, on which there will be a pinout diagram of the Fpanel pin headers
http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/download/download_manual_detail.php?pFILE_TYPE=Manual&fSEARCHTEXT=kt7a

USUALLY the wires are marked as:
Power switch: PW
Power led = Pled

On the motherboard you will see (bottom right corner I think), a group of about 8 pins in a block, this is the Fpanel pinset. on the motherboard next to each pin SHOULD show the wire connections as described above, but consult the manual to be sure.. this is a VERY old mobo

OK, this is for all the idiots who reply and offer NOTHING. You need more info, model and ver? HE ALREADY GAVE ALL THAT INFO.
Type "M848A v5" in google and you will see it is a PCChips mobo AND the manual is here:
http://download.ecsusa.com/dlfilepcc/manual/848Av50.pdf
BUT the manual DOES NOT HAVE THE PIN-OUT, so the manual is worthless...
Here is the pin-out:
(2)(4)(6)(8)
(1)(3)(5)(7)(9)

...and thanks to guntotenmadm

Aug 28, 2009 - The pin layout on the MB are color coded. There is green, orange, pink, and blue. I'll start with the green pins 2 and 4 these are for the power led wires, bottom pin #2 is the + pin (your green wire). Pin #4 is - (your white wire). Now the orange pins, pins 1 and 3 these are for the HDD led. The bottom pin #1 is the HDD + pin (your red wire). Pin #3 is the HDD - (your white wire). Now the pink pins, 6 and 8 these are for the power switch. Pin #6 is the + pin (your orange wire). Pin #8 is the - pin (your white wire). Now the blue pins, 5 and 7 these are for the reset switch. Pin #5 is the - (your white wire). Pin #7 is the + (your blue wire)."""

Memory

Hi,

Unplug both ram dim. Plugin one single ram dim and check. Remove first and plugin second dim then check is detected ? If both are detected one by one then check clock speed of both rams , it should match, otherwise only one will be detected. Also check motherboard manual for supported ram eg. ddr1, ddr2 , cloack speed etc.

Thanks,

Vksr
