Question about GE 24 in. Profile PDW7800 Built-in Dishwasher
The dishwasher is loaded, and all the lights come on, however, when you push start, you can hear a click or two, however, nothing happens. This morning, the "clean" light came on, however, nothing happened the whole night and the cycle never came on.
The most likely cause of the unit is not getting water. If you can remove the kick plate at the bottom and have a voltohm meter you can check: a.the continuity of the solenoid valve at the left front, unplug wireconnector set meter to ohms, touch leads to the terminals if no reading replace complete inlet valve. If you have a reading, then B.Turn on machine, set meter to volts, connect leads to plug, you should have a reading of 120vac. If not, Then the control board needs replacing. If the unit is in warrenty you'll need to contact where you purchased it.
