So, for some reason all the album artwork wouldn't show on my iPod. I deleted the songs then put new songs on my iPod, then ejected the iPod, and all the songs and videos and podcasts have been deleted. Photos are still on it, but there are no songs. Help?

The first way is uncheck the songs you want to delete on iTunes and then sync iTunes with ipod again, then the songs you want to delete will lose from iPod.
The second way is use leawo iTransfer to delete songs from iPod, the way is connect iPod to leawo iTransfer, then right click on the music you want to delete from iPod on leawo iTransfer to choose "Delete", then the music will be deleted soon. However, this tool can only work on Windows computer.

While the album artwork is an essential part of non-digital
albums, is also useful for digital versions of music. This is especially true
of songs from the iPod Touch from photos, also known as album art; add to the
visual appeal of the songs played on the iPod Touch. If you noticed that your
songs are missing images playing on the iPod Touch, you can solve this problem by
obtaining the art in iTunes.

1. Connect your iPod Touch to your computer using the USB
cable for iPod.

2. Click "Start" then "All Programs" and
"iTunes." Click the "Music" option under
"Library."

3. Click "Edit" then "Select All" on
iTunes. Right-click and choose "Get Album Artwork." Then click
"Get Album Artwork" when asked if you want to get the album cover.

4. Wait for iTunes to download artwork. This may take
several minutes depending on the number of albums that defect art.

5. Write the songs from iTunes to your iPod Touch. If your
iPod Touch is automatically set to sync with iTunes, iTunes automatically
copies the music.

6. Disconnect the iPod Touch after iTunes has copied the
songs. Press the "Music" on your iPod Touch and play a song to iTunes
to see the pictures added.
Tip: if you want a larger image, just google it, just like this sample. And another thing, you don't need to save all the artworks on your computer, just copy-paste will do (refer number 6 below). Just make the artwork available for you to copy from your internet browser. Now that you have the correct artwork, here's what you need to do next: Take note that the procedure will be the same for both Mac and Windows. 1. Open iTunes.
2. Select Music.
3. Right-click on the song where you want to add/replace the album artwork.
4. Select "Get Info" to open the song properties.
5. Select the "Artwork" tab, which happens to be the last tab.
6. Add the correct artwork or delete any wrong artwork that you see there and replace it, by clicking "Add..." button and locating the correct artwork from your computer. Another way of adding/replacing the artwork is to open the correct album artwork from your files or like I've mentioned above, straight from the internet (thru google or wherever), right click on the image and select "Copy". and then go back to song properties on iTunes and paste it by clicking CTRL-V (control, then V) from Windows keyboard or Command-V (command, then V) from Mac keyboard. 7. Finally, click the "Ok" button to save your changes. Adding or replacing lyrics will take the same steps except that there is no "Add..." button there, only copy-paste or type it yourself. Tip: it'll be easier if you do all of these stuffs simultaneously.
8. After you've fixed the song properties, sync your iPhone / iPod Touch to iTunes. And you're all done! Congratulations!
Step 1: Open iTunes and have your iPod connected to your PC.
Step 2: Press Ctrl and 'A' at the same time for Windows, or Command and 'A' in Mac and all your songs will be highlighted.
Step 3: Right click and choose "Get Album Artwork"
Step 4: After the progress bar is done. Go to the left side of your screen and select your iPod.
Step 5: Right click and choose sync. After it is done, it will get all the album art on there.
Click on "Advanced" which is found at the top of the screen. Select "Get Album Artwork" from the drop down menu. It will ask you "Are you sure you want to get album artwork?" Hit "Get Album Artwork". Before you do that, you can select "Don't ask me again" if you don't want this to pop up in the future.
Wait until it is done searching for the artwork. A window will pop up saying that it either found all artwork or they didn't. If they did, then great, your done, plug in your iPod and start jamming. But if they didn't, you can still jam away, but check the song title, album name, artist, and genre to see if you got it typed in correctly. Type in what they are supposed to be and try again.
If they still can't find it, then you can add them manually. Look at the link below to find out how to do it manually.
If Itunes wont find the art work:
Find the artwork for the album on the internet. Try using Wikipedia. Click on the artwork to get a larger image. If you can't find it there, I'm sure you can find it using Google images. Anyway, once you find it drag it to your desktop. Make sure it is on there before you continue.
Next, you need to highlight the songs that are in the album you are getting artwork for. To highlight multiple songs, click on the first song and then while holding the shift key click on the last song. To highlight multiple songs that aren't grouped together, click on all the songs while holding the command key on a Mac and ctrl key on a PC.
Now go to "File" then "Get Info". A window will pop up asking you if you want to edit multiple items. Click "Yes". Another window will pop up labeled "Multiple Item Information". You will notice a box on the right hand side of the window that says "Artwork". Click and drag the artwork that is on your desktop into that box. It should appear there. When it does, select "Ok".
When it is done processing, plug your iPod into the computer, sync it, and take your iPod out to start listening to your improved music.
Okay, well you may have an issue with your iPod settings.
First: Plug your iPod into the PC and pull up iTunes
Second: Go to devices and go to "(Whatever you put)'s" iPod.
Third: look at Options and look at the ones you have checked. UNCHECK=Sync only checked songs and videos. UNCHECK= Manually manage songs and videos (just for extra precautions) and UNCHECK= Enable disk use (just for extra precautions).
Fourth: Go to Music and look at what you have checked. If you haven't already, check="Sync music" and under that "All songs and playlists." Also check=Include music videos and Display album artwork on iPod.
Fifth: Click "Sync" and hopefully that will solve you problem.
Get yourself anapod from Redchair software, this works on older PC's and you just drag and drop songs onto your ipod. Its also very easy to delete tracks aswell.Anapod supports adding and deleting photos onto the ipod.
