Cant figure out how dryer belt goes around pully and moter

Go to repairclinic.com and click on the "Get Repair Help" link. Select the "Dryer" category, followed by "Click here for a dryer belt installation diagram". There are numerous illustrations that you can use to assist you with the proper routing of your dryer belt. If the model number is correct, refer to diagram H. I hope this helps you.

I need to know to route my dryer belt on my GE dbrl33ee2ww dryer as the belt slipped off and I did not see the correct path

Hi Roy, W/D here. I wrote this earlier for another person, but it works just as well twice.

You already have the diagram! (Bear with me).

Make sure that your power is off.

If you look carefully at the drum, you can see where the old belt was running.
Place your new belt in that position.
Now, place the belt over the motor pulley (It is in the same plane as the belt position on the dryer).
Pull the tensioning pulley past the belt, and ease it into place.
Roll the drum several revolutions by hand, just to get the belt tracking completely right.
Put it all back together and you're done!
Best regards, --W/D--

I need to fit a new belt to a Creda Tumble Dryer

There should be some kind of tensioner around the motor or one of the pully's. The other problem could be that the belt you bought is the wrong one for your model. If you still have the old belt, measure the new belt against the old one and the new belt should be slightly smaller. I hope this info helps.

Replacing element with "upgrade"?

That module is located up on the left side, under the machine top.

I'm guessing you solved this by now.
