I have an LG 42LD520-UA and it doesnt do anything no lights nothing just wont turn on

AC out is good? Otherwise check the main AC fuse on the power supply module, see picture here:

The fuse is located on the top right (white cylinder with red band), the fuse is soldered in.

My Panasonic Model: THL32U20A will not respond. You can turn it on manually (not by remote) and once turned on, nothing works, IE: remote doesnt do anything and you cant even change channels or volume etc...

I too have exactly the same fault. The Tv even turns itself on in the middle of the night, i have to unpug it from the wall. It has been in for repair 3 times now, one guy said there is nothing wrong with it. I am keen to hear if anyone has had this fault resolved.
Thanks
Darren

Disassembled tv. found inline fuse to have no continuity.no power to tv. power source good.

If the fuse show no continuity as you indicate, that means the fuse is open. Does it have sugn of blakened inside the fuse? You need to check the bridge rectifier, the MOSFETs' and anything else for shorted circuits. Did you try new fuse yet?

Can't get my Panasonic LCD out of Standby.

I only have two solutions. Either, turn the tv on from the tv. or try checking the tv connection. If that doesnt work maybe the remote is out of battery.

TV WONT TURN ON

Got it fixed. Removed back off tv and found the fuse right where the cord enters. Removed fuse[didn't look like it was blown] and got new one from radio shack, installed and now the tv works. That was all it was. Thanks again
