If indeed the disk is scratched and can't be read by your CD/DVD drive, you'll have to purchase another Microsoft Works package.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi there, somebody install windows 8 pro and is not working properly. I want to restore my PC to windows 8, but its asking me to insert recovery media and I don't know what it is

You can download an ISO of your original OS from Microsoft and using your COA install it as a new install. Don't forget to install ALL drivers from the Samsung web site or it won;t work properly.

How do I recover or repair bootini and bootsect for Windows XP Professional after uninstalling Windows 7 Ultimate?

It's good that you have the recovery cds. Do NOT reformat the hard drive. Restore with the cds so you'll have a clean install . You will need to have any software cds that did not come with the original pc in order for them to rebuild the registry entries. That is the easiest way because there won't be any left over files from Windows 7 after you restore to XP.

How do you put the Windows XP back to factory default in the start?

There's two ways, one is using system restore and using the oldest restore point, as long as the points weren't deleted to increase storage space.

The other way is to use a windows XP install disk and doing a fresh install of XP.

As for a system, you can restore a system like a pre-built, say a eMachine using the recovery partition or recovery disks.

Can i keep new windows 8 pro after fresh fujitsu factory settings

Buy Windows 8 Activation Key 64bit 32bit
http://www.Genuinewindowkey.com/
of course, the best place to buy a key is ms. i purchased years from ms online store. however, this time, i'd like to share one special experience on http://www.Genuinewindowkey.com/ .
i visit my forum everyday. one day, i found a piece of recommendation from another guy. so i visited this site.
at the beginning, i'm quite skeptical at them. the price is too low.
then i sent many questions to them.
out of my expectation, they replied to me very soon. each question was answered.
at that time, i planned to try the new Windows 10 Education Product Key.
long story short, i purchased a key from them, received it and download links(32bit&64bit) in about one hour. i need 64. and, more important, the key works at the first try.
i sent much feedback to them. in one word, i'm very satisfied with this purchase, and i think, i should pass words to you.

Had dual boot with linux, lose my XP. I have the 5 cd recovery disk, but I can not install my XP back.

  • Hello charlieri_1, this happens often when installing 'new' OS, especially when creating a "Dual Boot." What you will have to do is a "Clean Install" starting from scratch; unfortunately! You will have to use the "Recovery Disk" to install Windows XP, first! Next, after you have restore the XP [OS]; then you will install the more "Updated" OS, [Linux] "This is just the Operating System way of order; oldest first, latest last, to properly install the OS. Hope this helps you, thanks paul7of9."

Installed windows xp disk with a scratch and now wont boot up

If you have the Windows Key/License for the XP disk you can use someone else's copy of the XP disk or call Microsoft and ask for a replacement. You need the license and it must not have been installed on another PC previously.

Cannot Re-install Windows from Recovery DVD's ACER 5610-4179

Hello,
Your recovery disks must be scratched or files are corrupted. Since you have successfully installed XP Pro, why not stay with it as it's better than Home?
If you have a restoration partition on your C drive, you may be able to revert to your original configuration from it. And if you insist on XP Home or only have a valid product key for home, you can borrow a disk from anyone who has a good copy.
I hope this helps.
