B200 is a service error that can occur due to a hardware failure with either the printer or the print head.
In most instances, a B200 error will require a repair at a Canon authorised repair centre, however prior to sending your printer for repair please follow the steps below to try and resolve this error-
Turn off the printer
Disconnect the power cable
Open the printer cover
Check for any orange protective tape or white polystyrene and remove if necessary
Check that there are no foreign objects in the printer (such as a paper clip) and remove if necessary
Close the cover
Reconnect and turn on
If the error message is still showing, then it is necessary to deliver or send the printer to an authorised repair centre.
If the printer is still under warranty, (generally one year from purchase) and supporting documentation is provided, then a free of charge warranty repair will be carried out.
If the warranty has expired, then any repairs can only be carried out at cost and charges will apply.

Regarding your Pixma MX882 printer inquiry (Canon 225/226 ink cartridges) and B200 error message, most likely the built-in PRINTHEAD is reaching it's end-of-life and may need to be replaced with a new one. Typically, the average printhead only produces ~4000 to 5000 pages before it electrically fails.
For information on PRINTHEAD failures, please refer to our support page: http://inkjet411.com/?page_id=2934
However, let's run thru the full checklist to screen out additional variables:
Canon B200 Error, Troubleshooting:
Replace ink cartridges if they are empty:
At the risk of stating the obvious (frequently not so obvious in the heat of the moment), find out if the ink cartridges are empty. When in doubt, try a new Canon original ink cartridge to see if this corrects the error.
A data cable of print head is open:
Did you just replace an ink cartridge? Perhaps you shifted a data cable to the print head.
Replace PRINTHEAD if it is damaged. Refer to Canon.com for replacement part.
Turn off the printer for some time
In other troubleshooting tips we have advised any inkjet printer not seeing regular usage to run a test print page. If you are making heavy usage of a Canon inkjet printer, consider giving it a break. This will avoid saturating the printhead with heat, prolonging useful service life.
Update the printer driver:
If you have followed all this with no success, from the printer menu (not computer) push the buttons to get a demo or test page. If everything is ok when you do this, however you get the service error code B200 when you try to produce something productive, odds are good, the print driver the computer is using has gone south (corrupt). When printing on a network, a corrupt printer driver can spread like an unwanted virus. Depending on the network, a driver that has gone rogue may be seen as an updated driver, which network will 'helpfully spread' as an update.
CAUTION: Be advised, the use of compatible/clone cartridges (i.e. sold thru the internet from China) are known to be problematic and may cause printer errors and/or permanent PRINTHEAD failures. We do NOT suggest refilling these types of ink cartridges.....refilling of original/genuine ink cartridges is only suggested!

Error B200 on Canon printers is a print head error. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. To attempt to resolve it, do the following:
(1) Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over (2) Remove the ink cartridges from the print head. (3) Use cotton swabs dipped in hot water to thoroughly clean the print head and each ink cartridge. (4) Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab. (5) Once finished, allow to dry and replace the cartridges (6) Try to print something now
If that does not work then you have one of two possibilities: (1) One of the ink cartridges is defective and causing the error (2) If it's definitely not that, then the print head will need to be replaced.
to Canon's documentation, Error B200 is simply listed as a printer error (not
very descriptive). It is likely a hardware fault on a board, a
physical hardware malfunction. To resolve the error, Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from
the power supply.
Again connect it and turn on. If the problem is not resolved, then best option is to take it back where you purchased it or contact Canon service centerabout the error code.
I hope this solution helps you Thank you and Keep Visiting FixYa!
