Question about Cuisinart DCC-1200 Coffee Maker

Open Question

Cuisinart DCC-1200 clock looses time, auto set can't be used, since time changes sporadically. any suggestions on fixing?

Clock sets just fine, however it seems to lose time over a day or two, so if you preset coffee for brewing in the morning, sometimes you get coffee at 2 am.. any suggestions for how to fix the clock?

Turn the function knob to Auto Off
Hold down the hour button til you see the clock display blinking
you can then use the Hour and Minute buttons to program how long you want the coffee maker to stay on.
You can choose from 0 minutes (seems to be what you have it set on now) to 4 hours.

Yep. Unplug for 20 minutes or longer officially. If it doesn't work, your serial number may still put you in warranty. They have a longer warranty period than anyone.

Unplug it for 20 minutes or longer to fully reset it. At that point, the default shut-off time will be two hours, unlss you use the auto-off to increase this time limit to 3 or 4 hours.

Unplug the coffeemaker for 20 minutes or longer - not a second less - in order to fully reset it. Then, when you plug it back in, turn the function dial to Clock again. Press and hold the HR button for a few seconds, and then set the hours. It should work now unless it got zapped, as you said.

Good luck!

Have you tried turning the left dial to "PROG" instead of "CLOCK"? This is the only way I can change the clock time on mine...Seems like some kind of a design error...Now I'm not sure what the "CLOCK" function does! Very odd...
