If its a DLP TV on the rear of the is usually where they go..there is a small access door that you remove and behind that door is the bulb cage

First replace bulb to make sure it's not the bulb. If it's not the bulb it is most likely the light engine. My suggestion would be don't invest in the light engine. Goes for about $500 plus for a re-built one and warranty is only 3-6 months on it. I purchased one and it went again in 4 months.

Please don't invest in any more dlp tv's. I learned the hard way.

Changed lamp green light comes tv plays for about 1 or 2 minutes tv goes blank red flashes 3 times.

Not 100% sure but I am currently looking into this. 2 things it might be which are most probable. I replaced my lamp a few years back with no issues. This time around I figured I'd be proactive and bought a new lamp as my current one was going dim. Not unusable but I could tell. Lamp arrived and I put it in. Started up, great! Then after a few minutes it shut down and the red LED would blink 3 times. I removed the lamp and replaced it after unplugging the tv and turned it on. This time it ran about 20 minutes and same thing! Tried a third time and had the same thing. So I put the old bulb back in, and this time it didn't even turn on! I removed it and with a flashlight looked in there. There are two safety switches. The first is a very small pressure switch at the base of where the bulb interfaces to the TV. That switch ensures the bulb housing is seated. Secondly there is a switch in the rear side where the second door with the lever lock is. When you rotate it the switch is engaged. I replaced the housing carefully and made sure everything was tightly seated. The tv has been on for about an hour now no issues with the old bulb.

I have two theories and am leaning toward the second one I will suggest. One is that the bulb is somehow overheating as it is newer and brighter, or is somehow defective. The other theory is that as the bulb heats up the switch might be getting dislodged. I am leaning towards this given that it is working with the old bulb. But I am not certain. Soon I will try the new bulb again and may even attempt to slightly bend the switch out a little so that it is easier to engage.

I had to replace the primer bulb and fuel tubing. The primer bulb just disappeared, presumably blew off. I have installed the new bulb and replaced the fuel tubing, but I need to know where the tubes...

The line with the fuel filter in the end comes out of the tank and it goes to the bottom fitting on the carburator. The other line comes out of the tank and goes to the bottom fitting on the primer bulb, and the third section goes from the top fitting on primer bulb to top fitting on carburator. Got it? lol Hope this helped and best wishes.

LG DLP not turning on

well i know what the problem is... if your getting the white scroll and then the red light flashes but the fans are comming on and you got a new bulb the broblem is the ballast. i know cuz i had the same problem and a good friend of mine has a tv shop and i had him look at it but the good news is that its not that hard to change. if you try to go through LG thay wont be able to sell you the ballast if your just a coust. good news is that you can fined the ballast on ebay from s.gifeasywaylamps its about $130.00 bucks shiped. bad news about is that thay are from china(it is where i got mine) but it works great and hasent gave me a broblem yet. if any one eles has the same problem and it was something eles.... PLEASE POST IT. i hope my info has been helpful to someone.... thanks Brad Ross of East Moline Illinois... you can email me at plopit40@yahoo.com

Hitachi

TV's have a circuit that monitors the high voltage and shuts down the power if it senses something amiss.
On projection types, figure on just replacing the entire board that has the flyback transformer on it.
Hope ya fix it!
