I doubt it's the copier, sounds more like a application or board problem, my first suggestion would be to re-install the driver. the other would be to target the hard drive or memory/ mother board of the network of the copier

First try another keyboard. If that does'nt solve it then reboot the machine into SAFE mode with networking. Once there, download AVGFREE.com, MALWAREBYTES.com and SUPERANTISPYWARE.com. Run these to remove any problems. Reboot and check your work. Evrything should be fine now.
