SOURCE: Just bought a 12

Hello. Do this. Loosen the other three nuts so there is lots of wiggle room and then get the fourth nut and bolt started. If it will not start at all, check it against the others as it is possible that the company merely sent the wrong one. If that is the case, take one of the good pairs to any hardware or even home depot and match it up.
The other option is to purchase the thread cutter of the correct size and recut the threads.

SOURCE: can i get guard for 10" miter saw

Go to www.ereplacementparts.com and search on your model to get a parts breakdown. Use TS1342L as the model number, the ZR indicates it's reconditioned. You can order parts from them or get the part numbers for the parts you need and check the internet for other vendors that may have better prices.

Dewalt DW 705 Type 1 Hard to pull down to cut material

Go to www.2helpu.com that is the dewalt site. You might have to change the link arm that moves the guard up. They get bent over time. Check other parts on the raise and lower assy for wear at the same time.

Hello. DeWalt has 13 types of this saw on file. Here is the link to all:
http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Parts/Search?searchedNumber=DW705&searchType=1

Click on the "more details" arrow of the one that meets your needs, then click the PDF symbol in the top right of the "product information" tab.

If this helps, please rate a four-thumbs up. Thank You.

Either the blade or the guard is out of alignment. You will have to check and find out which one is the culprit.
