Just trying to figure out how to use my calc

You can't graph something not in the form y=___. You need to make it in terms of y: make it y=-0.25x. If you still need help from there, please respond.

Hi,

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

goodluck!

Use the definitions of the intercepts.

x-intercepts (or zeros or roots) are the values of the independent variables that make the function equal to zero. To obtain an intercept set y=0 in equation : 5x=-10, mean x=-10/5=-2

y-intercept: value of y when x=0.

Just set x=0 in equaltion and solve for y

-4y=-10, gives y=5/2

And Sorry, I cannot enter the answer in the drop box.

hiArguments are in an invalid order, try multiplying the 5.8 with the other two terms (2pi/365)(x-196) that way yo might be able to graph it.

First step is to find inequality in the form y<f(x), in this case **y<5-0.5x**. Then graphing it. See captured image

You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot features. Press "2ND" "STAT PLOT" and then select 4:PlotsOff.

If this isn't the problem, try posting the function(s) you're trying to graph, as well as the window settings.

Parabolas are forms of X^2. Go to [Y=], then put in the formula of the parabola that you want.

Srry my friend the ti 83 is no magnificent Ti-89. meaning: you have to solve it yourself. There is a method for graphing though. Set the equation equal to zero and then plug the stuff on the other side of the equation into a graph by pressing y= and then typing it in. Then hit graph. Wait for the graph and then hit 2nd calc and select zeros. Bring your cursor using hte arrow keys close to where the line hits the x axis and press enter and then do the same except to the right of that point and then press enter twice and it will display the y which should be the answer

There are quadratic formulas for calculators programmed in tibasic for the calc but other than that there is no way to solve it
