If youv'e tried the volume buttons on the side go to settings and press on sounds.there is that little sliding thing on the top of all the other things alide that all the way up. If that doesn't work click twice on the button whithquare in the center. the apps you have recently used should show up in a compartment slide them to the right. then you should see your music slide it to the right one more time then you should see volume slide that all the way to the end I hope you get your voleme up.

Hi,

Goodluck!

Apple iphone 1st generation

That is DFU mode. It's there for software upgrading/downgrading. If you can't get out of this mode, reloading the firmware from Itunes will release it.

Open up Itunes.
Connect your IPhone.
Select your IPhone in the left window frame.
Press the "Check for Updates" button located in the summary frame.
Click "Download and Install."
Don't disconnect it while it's doing it's thing.

Once it finishes you will be out of DFU mode.

Hope this helps,
BReady

How can I use JVC AVX810 with Iphone? Currently IPOD works fine with the USB cable but IPHONE is not recognised. Maybe there is an adaptor that can solve it?

JVC KS-PD100 iPod Interface Adapter (257KSPD100, sold separately). This optional iPod Interface Adapter supports audio playback for the following iPod models - iPod click-wheel (3rd gen), iPod photo (4th gen), iPod mini (1st/2nd gen), iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen), iPod video (5th gen), and iPod classic (80/120/160GB). The KS-PD100 is not compatible with the iPod touch (1st/2nd/3rd gen), iPod nano (5th gen), or iPhone (2G/3G/3GS). This iPod interface will also not charge the iPod nano (4th generation). *Apple firmware updates may change functionality results.

Is a 2g touchscreen compatible with a first gen Iphone? Will it work if I buy the part on my 1gen phone?

Do you mean a replacement glass to put on your 1st gen iPhone? It can get a bit confusing with the 'Generation' labelling, as 2G in fact refers to 1st Generation iPhones (any prior to the 3G, hence 2G - it relates to the data connection protocol more than the hardware version).
So, with that in mind - am I correct in assuming that you have seen a 2G screen for sale?
If so then yes it will work on your 1st Gen (2G) iPhone. I haven't compared the 2G/3G screens that closely, but I do know some of the sensors are located in a slightly different position on the 3G which may in itself be an issue.
Let me know if you want me to further investigate and I'll help if I can!
