I have one also, I'm looking for a manual out of boredom i guess, but, everywhere i look, i see all of my tv's probs. As far as the coax input, unless you have a solder kit, not much you can do other than get an adapter, use the a/v, or a vcr. the tv going off after a few mins, I solve by hitting the guide button on my dish receiver or what ever you have to stimulate the tube.... I know that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean. It sort of warms it up. That also works for the sound. It really does work for me, its just basically, getting it to "wake up"

My tv 27PS55S121 philips star on and off

This is pretty common. Usually it's because of bad solder connections at a part called the vertical output integrated circuit. Resoldering the bad connections is often all it takes to fix the trouble. While it's a simple repair, unless you have experience doing electronic soldering you should have this done by a professional. It's possible to more damage. Take the set to a shop for an estimate (won't cost as much as a new TV).

TV shuts off on it's own. Turns on fine, stays on for a few minutes, then something clicks inside, and it shuts off, and can't be turned on with remote. I then spend the next 5-10 min turning it back on...

This is because of a power supply unit going out inside and there is not much you can do accept for have it repaired or think about new at this point also with the new digital tv standars comming out you are going to need a box for this if you doing OTA anyways so at this point if you are not inclided to haing it repaired have it recycled.
