That is probably a faulty control board, try first unplugging the fridge and see if this help.

This is a F&P fridge problem , due to a faulty control board or a defective temp control.

If you alrady tried unplugging the fridge, and defrosting overnight, and fridge is cooling but beeping at time, then have the control board replaced.
Try first playing with the temp control to see if that can fix the problem.

Let me also know if the fridge is displaying a determined code or beeping a number of times instead of randomly, in that case you may have a different fault.

    Same problem here.

Hi - I believe the problem is the power module located on the rear of the machine. I have not done work on F&Paykels for a long time.

Whats happenning is the controls is picking up an error with the input power supply, the modules perhaps got an intyermittent issue.

Try this turn your fridge off & back on again - the E522B will start to beep indicating the lose of power which is exactly whats happening to the unit at the moment, to eliminate the beeps you reset with the temp button on the inside.

this alarm is activate if the temp. of the fridge rises and because the freezer section is full of ice form thats why affect the circulation of cold air. try to check the defrost timer if yuor unit have or heater if working if dont have defrost timer or heater try to lessen the setting of your themostat to cut of unit after reaching desired temp. or conduct weekly defrost manually.

Kenmore top freezer fridge beeping problem

Sounds like your on the right track. The switch getting warm is a bit of an issue, but that could be normal operation depending on a number of factors.

But, your right, the switch pops out from the front. Be sure and disconnect power before you attempt this as you don't know if the switch is on 120VAC or a low voltage power from the controller.

It will likely be the fan that is in the back of your fridge that pushes the cold air up into the fridge from the freezer. Probably because the wires will have broken. You need to pull the back of your fridge out and it will be right at the bottom of your fridge at the back. It is a pretty easy fix. You will need to either replace the fan or fix the wire.

Freezer temperature display keeps flashing

on the main circuit board on top of the fridge is a button with "test" on it. hold that in for a few sec, it should start beeping at you. push it again and it will beep again, do this about 4 time till it goes quite. this may fix it but the reason for it is prob your sensor is covered in ice, you need to leave it off with the doors open. there are 2 drain pipes at the back of the fridge ( bottom ) defrost it till no more water comes out of these, when you think its done, leave it for a few more hours and if any water comes out your not defrosted yet--- mine took almost 3 days.

Fridge freezer keeps beeping

I think I may have the solution, after having suffered through the same problem for months. I have a Kenmore Elite side-by-side which is really the same as KitchenAid and Whirlpool. Having thought of complicated solutions first, I have finally gotten back to step 1, simple solution. Tape the switch on the top of the freezer compartment and see if that works for you. I believe the door while seemingly closed is not pushing the switch in far enough. If that works for you, you can probably glue something to the top of freezer door so it can push in the door switch a little better. The reason that it beeps is that the switch is not pushed in enough and the light is still on inside while the door is closed. The refrigerator then thinks the door is still open. I really hope this works for you as I can sympathize with you having listened to the beeps for months. I feel sorry for people who have changed one circuit board after another to no avail. And there are so many stupid repairmen out there offering dumb advices and perform needless repairs.

Beeping constantly in middle of night

My fridge (E440T but I believe the E522B is similar) also had a broken fan wire. I pulled off the panel and re-soldered the wire. I also created a document for others to follow if interested at http://www.accentis.com.au/downloads/misc/How I fixed my Fisher and Paykel Fridge Active Smart Fridge.pdf
Thanks to all postings on this site - it really helped a lot.
