Question about Sony VAIO VGN-FS660P/W Notebook
I have a Vaio VGN FS 660 laptop (Sony). a couple years ago the wireless card in it was replaced with a 1370 mini-pci NIC card (Dell I think). recently i had to reset this laptop. when i did, now the wireless does not work. I think i need drivers for it, but i need to find out for sure if what kind of card is it for sure. how can i tell? i tried to download some drivers from Dell for this model (1370) but when i tried to install them, it said it could not detect the proper hardware.
any thoughts on this?
You will have to remove the cover to the wireless card (located on the bottom of the machine) to see exactly what it is. Then you can go to the manufacturer web site, and download the correct software/drivers.
