SOURCE: My Fridge leaks water on to the floor. water not evaporating

Do you live in a very humid environment? Do you open and close the doer repeatedly? Both of these factors contribute to the water tray getting overfilled. Also if you are in a very humid area the tray will not be able to evaporate all the water.

Check also to see that the underneath area of the fridge has been vacuumed of as much dust as possible, especially on the coils. Poor airflow caused by excessive dust will contribute to the water not evaporating as fast as it should. Be aware that the water you see comes from the FREEZER section where the cold coils are located. Try hard not to put wet things in the freezer and try to keep it closed as much as possible. In the drier months does this happen?

Model zx97/5si fridge freezer. Why are the interior light and compressor not working?

My question is whether these three LEDs steady light or flashing during normal mode?

25836454-ucy4wx0s13wzivwce2sy2wdr-4-0.jpg If all three LEDs flash, that means NTC sensors failure!

NTC evaporator sensor is placed on back side of battery evaporator and NTC ambient sensor is placed on front side of batery evaporator.
Battery evaporator is placed in freezer compartment.

My evaporation tray is full and smells as milk has split into it and gone off -it is making the kitchen smell. Does the evaporation tray unattach from the back of the fridge?

if you can get to the tray pour in some clorine bleach,or pour some down the drain hole, this will kill any smells/bacteria.(works with all fridges).

We have a Miele Fridge that smells of cheese but there is nothing within it. The smell comes from the residue in the tray above the motor. What is the best course of action to clear the smell as the tray...

The tray is the evaporation pan, condensation drains down into it and the heat of the compressor helps it to evaporate. The only reasonable way I can think of is to use a putty knife to scrap as much as possible out of the pan then scrub it with a brush and baking soda water, then rinse it well. The baking soda should neutralize the smell and won't off gas any dangerous fumes when the compressor heats it.

Brown leak near the front foot

Condensation tray has been clogged up this tray sits on top of the compressor to evaporate the condesation from the unit. this tray sits on the compressor to use the heat of the compressor to evaporate the water produced during its cycles

Black tray above compressor is filling up with water on a RLA50

hi there.the tube your speaking about comes from the rear of the fridge down to the plactic tray on top of the compressor...and is used for conveying condensed water from the fridge to the dri tray where it is evaporated by the running heat of the comressor....excessive water can be caused by a faulty fridge door seal....door not closing correctly...and the possibility that your fridge setting is to low....or sited close to a working radiator

Cleaning drip tray.

I have just removed the drip tray from my fridge freezer and it was relatively easy.

Do not remove the compressor unit.

The drip tray is held in place by a metal clasp which is welded to the top of the compressor. The clasp is a flat piece of metal which must physically twisted to align with the key way in the plastic drip tray. I used thin pair of pliers to grip the clasp and twist it clockwise to line up with the tray key way. The tray then has to be carefully manouvred off the compressor so as not to cause damage or spill it foul smelling contents. This I managed to achieve fairly easily.

Clean out and install then twist the clasp to clamp the tray into position. I don't know what would happen if you didnt lock the tray back in position as it does not seem capable of falling off on its own and it would be easier to remove next time.

Hope this makes sense
