a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Parental Control Lock
I'm really guessing here - -but while you're in the parental controls screen I believe you can use 0-0-0-0 as a backdoor key. It's different for every manufacturer, Philips uses 0-7-1-1 example. But the users's manual for that TV says that the "default" is 0-0-0-0.. Don't really understand their use of that terminology so it's merely a guess... But here's something I am really sure of;;; The owner's manual can be downloaded for free at the Vizio web site: http://www.vizio.com/support/downloads/ and their support line is: 1-888-849-4623 or you can email tech support at: firstname.lastname@example.org Hope this helps. Good Luck Bill

There are codes that will bring up hidden menus and one menu has a reboot option that brings the TV back to factory defaults.
The two different menu codes that worked for me are:
3+ mute +3 + Mute
press one key after the other
