Can't find AsusSetup.ini: C:\Windows\Chipset\AsusSetup.ini

Open the control panel, click "system & security", click "management instrument". Open the "Task Scheduler", on the left side you will find "Task Scheduler Library". Click the Triangle of "Task Scheduler Library" and the list of task will show up. Delete "ASUS" folder and quit. Reboot and you won't see that annoying same "Can't find...." message again. Cheers~

ATI Radeon HD driver installation error: product identification error

Hello there.
I am an ATI Radeon customer myself (I own an ATI Radeon HD 2600XT) and there's a problem that I've faced for a long long time and have finally found the solution.
If you have this driver or any other ATI Radeon HD 2600/3600 series you might have noticed already that when trying to install the drivers (both out of the CD or the downloaded once) the driver-installation program does NOT identify that you have that exact model. Thus, causing you problems of not being able to play high quality PC Games and/or Video Codecs problems.
I was astonished, that's an error from ATI side, what should I do?
Well thank god ATI put an eye for that problem and they finally published a solution to it, a hotfix.
How to apply the hotfix and finally enjoy the potentials of this amazing Video Card?
Go here http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/CatalystAGPHotfix.aspx
Select your operation system. (For me, I have Windows XP Professional, so I would click Catalyst 10.4 Hotfix for Windows XP PRofessional and Home Edition.)
And by clicking there it prompts you to download the hotfix that includes the driver and ATI Catalyst.
Install it, and you're good to go.

Enjoy.

I need a missing driver or software download. i get a message saying "Can't find asussetup.ini. on C:\windows\chipset\asussetup.ini

Well, Chris Hingee has given a nice solution. But if you want to address the issue more efficiently, I'll recommend you to directly try Driver Detective and let the software have a free scan to automatically detect & update the missing drivers. This way you don't have to risk install wrong drivers which might cause severe system issues.

Hope this helps, best regards!

I need the C:\windows\chipset\asussetup.ini

I would try inserting the motherboard drivers CD and reinstall the chipset. Better still go to ASUS's website and get the newest chipset.
