Vegetable chips are a better snack choice than potato chips. When you eat veggie chips, stick to a small handful since they do contain fat and sodium, even if it's in smaller doses than potato chips.

In terms of fat and sodium, veggie chips are a better snack choice than potato chips. When you eat veggie chips, stick to a small handful since they do contain fat and sodium, even if it's in smaller doses than potato chips. You might also look for reduced-sodium versions to increase the nutritional value a bit more. Making your own veggie chips is another smart way to create a more nutritious snack. For many consumers, veggie chips are a dream-come-true. Crispy and salty like potato chips, but made from vegetables, veggie chips might seem like the perfect blend of taste and nutrition.

Not so fast. Yes, veggie chips are made from real vegetables and potato chips are made from real potatoes, but that doesn't make them healthy. You'll get small amounts of key nutrients when you eat veggie chips, but you also need to consider the fat and sodium content of the snack before digging in.

Though they may have fewer calories than regular potato chips, they really aren't expecially healthy. I would try raw vegetables instead like carrots, bell peppers, and cucumber.

Steaming vegetables how do I...

Couldn't be simpler. Prepare your vegetables as normal ensuring root vegetables are cut into similar sized pieces and in a multilayer steamer the root vegetables will be in the lower section and the leaf vegetables in the upper sections with the fastest cooking at the top.

Depending how you like your veg cooked will depend on the cooking times. My wife boils the potatoes for a while before placing the steamer on top so all finish together - not a particularly scientific approach, just the result of experience...

So eat grain fed meats of all 4 types, fresh fish, fruits and vegetables. It is an expensive diet for the protein, but is a healthy diet if you have lots of fresh vegetables. Eat nothing processed.
